I shared with you previously about our back porch broken gas line and the averted disaster the Lord saved us from. Even to this day, I keep getting flashbacks, thinking how close we came to potentially being killed. Yet, in the midst of these thoughts, I remember my dad’s favorite song that says, “His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.”

Psalm 91 speaks of the Lord giving His angels charge concerning us, to guard us in all our ways. Behind the scenes, angels are working all around us, guarding our steps and doing warfare against every trick of the enemy. Many times in the past, my life was spared. Some were so traumatic that I can still remember them in great detail, even now.

Therefore, I pray over you Psalm 121:7-8, which says, “The Lord keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.”

Yours in Christ,
