God is Faithful

After leaving the Air Force, Barbara and I went to live with Barbara’s sister, while I looked for a job. As you can imagine, there was no demand for X-Missile officers!  However, a job did open up in Houston with a small aerospace company. In that position, I learned the operations of Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, Manufacturing, etc. Sadly later, the aerospace company went bankrupt, and I was out of a job.  However, what started out as a painful experience turned out to be one of the most wonderful things to happen in my full life!

1st Miracle - Barbara was able to go to work as a registered nurse, and along with my unemployment benefits, we were making $1 per week more than my salary had been!

2nd Miracle - I was at home alone with ample time to read the “Voice” magazine, published by the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship. This magazine was full of amazing testimonies of healings, miracles and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Inspired by these testimonies, I attended one of the local Full Gospel meetings, in which I received the Holy Spirit! It was the greatest thing that has ever happened to me!  Shortly after this event, a job opened up for me in Tyler, TX at the Carrier Air Conditioning manufacturing plant.

3rd Miracle - After starting my new job with Carrier, they told me that the job I had just filled had been attempted by several people before me.  No one prior had been able to solve their particular cost problems. Because of the excellent training in the Air Force, plus the corporate training from that little aerospace company, I was able to solve the problems my predecessors had not been able to! Subsequently, I was awarded the “Man of the Year” several times in their cost-reduction program.

I share this testimony with you because God is no respecter of persons. What He has done for me, he will do for you. God is faithful to put you on a path of success, as you yield to His Spirit and listen to His voice on which way to go.  He is faithful!!

Yours in Christ,
