Celebrate Valentine’s Day

Today I celebrate Valentine’s Day.  Today brings to mind all those people who have brought love into my life, like my loving, caring wife; my precious children; our wonderful administrator, Tifphanie; and my extended.  I stop and give Barbara a big hug and tell her how much I love her. I count my blessings and thank the Lord for many friends who shared with me unforgettable events that have shaped my life.  Even painful times can be a time of learning. I try to follow those things in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 where it says:

Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails!

Let this day be a day of encouragement and prayer for all who the Lord prompts you to extend your love upon. “Let the love of God be shed abroad in your hearts by the Holy Spirit.

You Are Loved!
